Comic Relief - Interactive Stories
CREATIVE LEAD + UX DESIGN + UI DESIGN + ART DIRECTION
Over 16,000 schools and nurseries take part in Red Nose Day and over 14,000 in Sport Relief so providing both fundraising and educational materials and tools are integral to the campaigns. During exploration of the schools resources, what they were and how they were provided, I realised there was a space and importance for a digital learning experience in schools.
These 3 digital stories, each made for different campaigns, are educational interactive experiences aimed at 7-11 year olds, in which they can explore the life of a child who has benefitted from a project funded by Comic Relief.
Understanding the use of technology in schools and how to engage young people in world issues resulted in a innovative product that won a Digital Impact Award for Best Use of Digital by a Charity, NGO or NFP.
